The Singapore Battery Consortium (SBC) is a national initiative dedicated to advancing battery technologies and fostering collaboration among research institutions, industry stakeholders, and government agencies. Positioned at the intersection of innovation and sustainability, SBC aims to strengthen Singapore’s battery ecosystem by promoting research and development across key areas such as advanced materials, cell manufacturing, pack engineering, battery management systems, and recycling.
SBC serves as a strategic platform that unites a diverse network of partners—including startups, SMEs, multinational companies, and academic institutions—to co-develop next-generation energy storage solutions. Through technical collaboration, shared facilities, and knowledge exchange, the consortium accelerates the commercialization of battery technologies and supports the growth of local capabilities in the electrification and mobility sectors.
By aligning with Singapore’s broader sustainability and innovation goals, SBC plays a vital role in positioning the nation as a regional leader in battery research, energy storage systems, and clean energy solutions.
Singapore Battery Consortium
The Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association of Singapore (HFCAS) was formed in 2019 to provide a united voice of the hydrogen industry. HFCAS serves as a platform for networking, collaboration, and knowledge sharing. We are actively participating in the development of codes and standards for safe use of hydrogen; developing training courses to equip our workforce with the necessary skillsets for hydrogen related applications; providing business matching support to our members and counterparts, all of which to support the use of hydrogen in Singapore as a major decarbonisation pathway towards net zero by 2050.

Battery Associates is a global knowledge partner for the battery industry, offering consulting, training, and innovation services. Its flagship programme, BatteryMBA, is a 12-week course supporting battery leaders with the latest technical and business insights. Volta Foundation is the world’s largest network of battery professionals. As a global not-for-profit association of more than 75,000+ battery professionals and 200+ member companies, Volta Foundation produces publications (Battery Report, Battery Bits, This Week in Batteries, Watt’s New in Batteries), networking opportunities (Battery Forum, Women in Batteries, Battery Socials), and industry resources (Battery Business Directory, Webinars, Battery Career Fair, Battery Street) to foster collaboration, innovation and advocacy within the battery industry.
Volta Foundation
The Shenzhen Battery Industry Association was established in 2017 in response to the requirements of the municipal government office meeting. It is a 5A-level social organization based in Shenzhen, serving the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and extending its influence on the national battery industry. It is also the New Quality Productive Forces Committee of the China Battery Industry Association, the WTO/TBT-SPS National New Energy Storage Technology and Trade Evaluation Base , the review agency for senior professional titles in the lithium battery engineering field in Shenzhen, the initiator and operator of the first specialized industry college in the new energy field in Shenzhen – Shenzhen Lithium Battery Industry College.
Currently, the Association comprises over 500 member units and engages with more than 6,000 enterprises globally. Among its members are 53 publicly traded companies, including BYD, CATL, EVE Energy, and Sunwoda; etc.

The Indonesia Battery Ecosystem Association (idBattery) is a collaborative national alliance launched in September 2024 to strengthen Indonesia’s position in the global battery value chain. Formed through the joint efforts of industry leaders—like PT Industri Baterai Indonesia (IBC), CATL, Huayou—as well as research institutions such as the National Battery Research Institute (NBRI), idBattery aims to foster a competitive and sustainable battery industry ecosystem. Its vision is to emerge as Indonesia’s trusted authority on battery resources, technology, and policy.
By aligning academic expertise, industrial capabilities, and government support, idBattery accelerates the country’s transition from raw mineral extraction to end-to-end battery manufacturing. This integrated approach not only enhances local capacity in cell production and recycling but also underpins strategic energy independence goals—such as President Prabowo’s target of reaching 100 GW annual production—by building a full battery ecosystem.

The Association of Indonesian Electric Motorcycle Manufacturers (AISMOLI) is Indonesia’s leading trade body dedicated to advancing the electric motorcycle, conversion, and e-bike industry. Officially registered on January 17, 2022, with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, AISMOLI unites all national manufacturers and distributors of electric two-wheelers.
Representing over 50 electric motorcycle brands, conversion workshops, and component suppliers, the association’s mission is to support its members in delivering high-quality, affordable EVs to Indonesian consumers. It actively engages with the government to promote fiscal incentives—such as the ongoing IDR 7 million subsidy per e-motorcycle—to accelerate market growth and ecosystem development.

The Asian Federation of Electric Vehicle Associations (AFEVA) is a regional alliance dedicated to advancing electric vehicle (EV) adoption and harmonizing EV standards across Southeast Asia. The federation aims to catalyze the development of a sustainable and integrated EV industry through the promotion of best practices, research and development, policy alignment, continuous improvement, and industry-wide collaboration.
AFEVA is composed of seven key member associations representing various ASEAN nations. These include:

The Korea Electric Vehicle Industry Association (KEVIA) is a non-profit membership organization launched in April 2019 under the of Trade, Industry and Energy. KEVIA brings together leading small- and medium-sized enterprises and mid-tier companies active in the electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem, alongside participation from major corporations and academic institutions. Its mission is to accelerate Korea’s EV industry by:
• Fostering dialogue and collaboration between government and industry
• Equipping member companies with market intelligence and networking opportunities
• Promoting globally competitive domestic EV technologies and services

The Malaysian Photovoltaic and Sustainable Energy Industry Association (MPSEA), formerly known as the Malaysian Photovoltaic Industry Association (MPIA), champions Malaysia’s clean energy future. Founded in 2006 and rebranded to reflect its expanded mission, MPSEA now unites nearly 300 members—from PV manufacturers and system integrators to consultants, financiers, and academics—to accelerate the nation’s transition to sustainable energy.
Operating as a collective voice, MPSEA engages with policymakers to advocate progressive regulations and incentives, fosters collaboration across the renewable energy value chain, and spearheads public education on clean energy adoption. Its vision is for “everyone to generate their own electricity via solar PV,” while its mission prioritizes inclusive, low-carbon solutions for both industry and nation.
Malaysian Photovoltaic and Sustainable Energy Industry Association (MPSEA)
CharIN (Charging Interface Initiative e. V.) is the leading global non-profit alliance committed to advancing interoperable charging standards for electric vehicles. Established in 2015 by major industry figures including Audi, BMW, Daimler, Porsche, Volkswagen, and Phoenix Contact, CharIN now brings together 300+ members spanning automakers, charging manufacturers, utilities, and tech providers.
At its core, CharIN promotes the Combined Charging System (CCS) as the global standard, while also developing complementary systems such as the North American Charging System (NACS) and the Megawatt Charging System (MCS) for heavy-duty vehicles. Through focus groups and task forces, CharIN coordinates cross-industry collaboration on technical specifications, certification, and policy advocacy, ensuring vehicles and charging stations are safe, reliable, and easy to use.
By driving standardization globally, CharIN supports scalable EV infrastructure, accelerates market growth, and underpins the shift toward greener mobility across cars, buses, trucks, and even marine and aviation sectors.

深圳市电子行业协会成立于1986年前身是深圳市电子工业发展协调委员会,是深圳经济特区的第一家行业协会,也是电子信息行业最具规模的协会之一。
三十六年来,协会秉承服务政府、服务产业、服务企业宗旨,坚定落实国家发展战略,带领会员企业开拓国内外市场,承办国内外重要论坛活动,推动电子信息产业人才梯队建设,并积极参与政府事务,坚定做好政府与企业的桥梁和纽带,为深圳电子信息产业高速发展做出巨大贡献。
截止目前,协会有会员企业1300多家,包含一大批电子信息领域的龙头企业,及行业细分领域的龙头企业,有赛格集团、华为技术、创维集团、中兴通讯、康佳集团、比亚迪、研祥智能、TCL科技等产业链主导企业,其中上市企业有112家,高新企业有475家。
协会拥有个人会员4397位,全部为从事电子信息行业的专业技术工程师。个人会员中,高级工程师以上职称有912位,专业领域涵盖电子元器件、通讯、计算机应用、网络安全、人工智能、物联网、工业互联网、自动化等领域。其中37位行业领军专家,他们是国家、省、市重大人才工程专家,为国家和行业发展做出突出贡献。
依托庞大的行业专家团队,协会长期协助政府职能部门进行行业市场调研工作、数据采集工作、行业课题研究、编纂行业白皮书、发起行业标准、承办科研项目立项、评审及验收等工作,并长期为会员企业提供专家咨询相关服务。
在产业基金方面,协会牵手前海母基金发起设立前海方舟电子科创产业基金,牵手深圳天使母基金发起设立电子信息产业天使投资子基金。通过产业资本,重塑产业关系,搭建产业供应链结构,优化产业金融结构,并在产业资本领域深化协会的基金服务。
